Monster Soup (Sweet & Chilled) | The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I love the monster foods in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, mainly because of their vibrant purples, but also because it's so interesting that a whole section for these unique foods was added to the extensive menu in the game (the details and immensity of the game are so impressive, not least of all in the food department).
What makes these foods (like curry, rice balls, cake, and more) "monster" is a special ingredient only available at night from the mysterious monster weeb Kilton called "monster extract", and you can only get it by trading in monster parts ('cause Kilton be loving' up on some monster stuff). These foods give a random health boost when consumed.
In the game, monster soup (created by combining monster extract, fresh milk, goat butter, and Tabantha wheat) is described as "gamey" and that people either love it or hate it, but I made two versions in real life (this one, and a savory warm one to be shared at another time and place) and am happy to say that they are both delicious. :) I thought this one would be nice to share for a yummy and refreshing Summertime treat.

*This recipe is shared in conjunction with the Breath of the Wild episode Carrie and I did recently on Fiction Kitchen Podcast. You can give it a listen here.*

Monster Soup
(Sweet & Chilled version)

Ingredients:
3 Cups Blackberries
1 Cup Blueberries
½ Cup + 2 Tbsp. Granulated Sugar
½ Cup 100% Pomegranate Juice
½ Cup Cold Water
1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
Pinch Salt
Garnish
Fresh Mint Leaves, minced
1 tsp. Plain Greek Yogurt
½ tsp. Milk

Directions:
In a blender, layer the berries, sugar, & juice.
Blend just enough so that the berries are broken down but the seeds are still relatively intact.

Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher.
Pour the 1/2 C water through the strainer & stir to help get the juice through.
Discard the seeds & rinse out the blender & strainer.

Pour the berry liquid back into the blender & add the yogurt & pinch of salt.
Blend until incorporated & smooth.

Pour through the strainer into serving bowls.
Sprinkle the minced mint onto the center of each bowl.

Stir the 1 tsp. yogurt & ½ tsp. milk together until smooth.
Spoon small dots of the mixture in a wide ring around the mint.
Drag a toothpick through the dots to create heart or leaf shapes.
